Show Your Light Collective

In 2026 I stepped out of my comfort zone and joined a book collaboration with 18 amazing women.

Show Your Light Collective, hosted by Susie Sprigg, brings together 18 powerful stories from women in business who had their ‘f**k it’ moment – the moment they chose to step out of fear, self-doubt and playing small, and build businesses and lives that truly reflect who they are.

These are stories of reinvention, resilience and courage. Stories of female entrepreneurs who found their voice, owned their story, and learned to show up with confidence and purpose.

Inside this book, you’ll find stories of:

Reinvention after loss, burnout, and breaking points
Finding your voice when it once felt impossible
Rebuilding identity, confidence, and self-belief
Choosing yourself, even when it feels uncomfortable
Turning life experience into purpose, impact, and growth
Building, pivoting and growing businesses

These are not perfect stories.
They are real.
Honest.
And deeply human.

This book is an invitation to every woman who knows there is more inside her.

Your story is your power.
Your voice is your light.
And it’s time to let both be seen.

My chapter is called ‘Finding My Voice.’

The room is quiet now, but something has been won.

As the final guests drift into the night and the candles burn low, Helen stands at the centre of a space filled with echoes of conversation, laughter, and connection. Once, the idea of speaking - of being heard - felt terrifying. Now, her voice has carried a room.

This chapter is about finding that voice.

It follows a journey from silence and fear to confidence and expression; from shrinking back to stepping forward. It explores what happens when the fear of public speaking no longer controls the story, and when the need to stay invisible is replaced by the courage to be heard.

This is not about becoming fearless. It’s about speaking anyway. About realising that your voice matters, even when it shakes. And about the quiet power that comes when you finally allow yourself to take up space - and trust that what you have to say is enough.
